Evan Walter, CTFA, and his team at BOKF's Institutional Wealth Asset Services division serve in the role of outsourced chief investment officers (OCIO) to nonprofit organizations, foundations, endowments, state agencies and institutional investors. The team provides guidance and counsel to governing boards regarding their role as fiduciary, and to the organization's leadership in the financial operations and asset management of the institution. Walter sees his role as a valued partner, sharing tested experience with organizations and foundations that are committed to a mission in their community.

Walter joined BOKF in 2019, bringing nearly 25 years of experience in the nonprofit/foundation management and financial services industries. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in Japanese from The University of Texas at Austin. He also holds the Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association.

Walter is a current member of the Sunbeam Family Services board, and chairs the external relations and development committee. In addition, he serves on the board and executive committee of the Oklahoma Association of Charitable Gift Planners. He is a past board member of both the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City and the Center of Family Love. He serves as treasurer of St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City and is an avid CrossFit athlete. As a Level 2 CrossFit trainer, Walter can be found coaching regular classes at a gym in Oklahoma City.
