Evan Walter leads a team that serves the role of outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) to nonprofit organizations, foundations, endowments, state agencies and institutional investors. They provide guidance and counsel to governing boards regarding their role as fiduciary, as well as to the organization’s leadership in regards to the financial operations and asset management of the institution.
Walter joined BOK Financial in 2019 and has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit/foundation management and financial services. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in Japanese from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds the Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association.
He is extremely active in the Oklahoma City community. His vast volunteer experience includes serving on the board for Sunbeam Family Services, as board treasurer for the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, as board assistant treasurer for the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City and as a member of Leadership Oklahoma. He is also a Level 2 CrossFit trainer.
