Sue Hermann
Sue Hermann is chief marketing officer for BOK Financial and executive editor for The Statement. She has three decades of experience in corporation communications and public relations and would gladly include a reference to St. Louis Cardinals baseball in everything she writes. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism at University of Missouri – Columbia and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Wright State University.
Megan Ryan
Megan is the director of content strategy for BOK Financial. With a public relations and corporate communications background in various industries, Megan enjoys bringing company and employee stories to life. She is a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and hospitality management. She is an avid sports fan who loves being outdoors and traveling with her family.
Danielle Sottosanti
Danielle Sottosanti, Ph.D., is the strategic content creator for BOK Financial. She has been writing professionally for more than 15 years. She previously worked as a newspaper reporter for the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson, Ariz., where she was recognized with an Employee of the Year Award. She also received an Arizona Press Club Award for growth and development reporting and was runner-up for the John Kolbe Politics and Government Reporting Award. From 2011 to 2013, Danielle was a reporter for two Financial Times publications–Ignites and FundFire. For nearly 10 years, she worked extensively as a freelance writer in the financial services industry and received her Ph.D. in English from Fordham in 2019.
Lee Brookman
Lee Brookman is a Dallas-based freelance writer with over 20 years of experience writing about financial services and other industries. He launched his freelance business in 2005 and has since served nearly 100 different companies with projects in marketing, corporate communications and brand journalism. Lee spent his early career in public relations and employee communications, including management roles for a Fortune 50 technology company and one of the world’s largest PR agencies. He holds a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
Laura Cardoza
Laura has been a communications specialist for over 15 years, covering topics like personal finances, economics and environmental issues. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s in education. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, painting and traveling.
Mirian Fuentes
Mirian Fuentes is a public relations and brand specialist for BOK Financial. She is a Los Angeles-based communications professional whose experience spans Spanish-language media and public relations. She is a self-described lifelong learner. Mirian holds a bachelor's degree in broadcast and digital journalism and a master’s in public relations and advertising from the University of Southern California. In her spare time, she enjoys pampering her Chihuahua named Princess.
Byron Ginsburg
Byron Ginsburg is an independent consultant and content creator serving financial, technology and health care clients. Based in Kansas City, he earlier worked in the office furniture, promotional apparel and communications industries. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas and a master’s in Marketing from Avila University. Actively involved in KC’s startup, freelance and mentoring communities for over 10 years, he enjoys family, friends, travel, tennis and connecting with colleagues.
Cristi Goettel
Cristi Goettel is the director of internal communications for BOK Financial. She is an Oklahoma State University graduate, bringing 20+ years of experience and a knack for storytelling to every project. When she’s not in work mode, you’ll probably find her out for a run, exploring a new travel spot or spending time on the water.
Jenna Hardie
Jenna enjoys keeping up with tech and political trends, as well as contributing content to a variety of outlets. Based in Alamogordo, N.M., Jenna specializes in content strategy and creation, public relations, and brand messaging. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and government and a master's in political science from New Mexico State University. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, exploring New Mexico's forests, camping and hiking.
Alison Meyer
Alison is a Denver-based communication strategist and freelance writer for insurance and financial services organizations. As a strategic question-asker and a creative problem solver, she helps brands communicate authentically to build culture, inspire brand loyalty and create lasting positive change. She enjoys hiking and is always on the hunt for the perfect almond croissant.
Kerby Meyers
Kerby Meyers enjoys breaking down financial concepts of all stripes into easily digestible content. A Denver-based independent consultant, he’s written for several financial services firms across the U.S. and has a growing interest in responsible investing. In addition to exploring money matters, Kerby aids the start-up community by leading courses and writing about entrepreneurship.

Erin Schwartz is a corporate communications specialist for BOK Financial, focusing on internal communications. She brings more than four years of experience to the team, working in higher education, nonprofit organizations and banking. She graduated from The University of Tulsa with a bachelor's degree in media studies and Spanish. Erin enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Kastle is a freelance copywriter and journalist who has covered topics from entertainment to design to finance. She is a former reporter/editor with the Los Angeles Times and has written for several companies in the financial services industry. She holds a degree in journalism from Cal State Northridge and a certificate in marketing from UCLA. Kastle loves writing about personal finance tips to help people achieve their goals. Cydney Williams is the public relations manager for BOK Financial. She has 10 years of experience as a newspaper reporter and executive editor, and is passionate about storytelling. She earned two bachelor's degrees—one in English and Communication from Rogers State University and one in Marketing from Northeastern State University. She enjoys road trips, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.
