Mike Benedict works exclusively on planning and orchestrating the ownership transition of privately held companies to include insider transactions and external sales to third parties. Benedict joined BOKF in 2016 and has 26 years of experience as a wealth advisor. He has been working as a business transition advisor for four years.

Benedict earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas, Austin and his MBA from the University of Dallas in Irving. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Certified Exit Planner (CExP), and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). He is a current member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Business Enterprise Institute (BEI), and Exit Planning Institute (EPI). He is a past member and treasurer of the Austin Financial Planning Association and a past adjunct professor at the University of Dallas.

Outside of the office, he enjoys playing with his grandchildren, golfing and traveling (in that order).
