Sean Pechan

Sean Pechan works with business owners and senior management to understand their risk profiles and structure a comprehensive strategy to protect their employees, assets and brand.

A seasoned insurance broker and advisor, Pechan has more than 20 years of experience in the property and casualty industry, and has worked with businesses and organizations throughout the United States. His current focus and passion is to help clients understand the evolving risks of cyber liability, employment practices liability and trade credit. He believes companies must carefully consider economic and market conditions when planning their risk management and insurance program.

Pechan's insurance career began with CoBiz Insurance, which was acquired by BOK Financial in 2018. He joined BOK Financial Insurance in 2021.

He graduated from Southern Illinois University and holds both CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and AAI (Accredited Advisor of Insurance) professional designations. He also holds licenses for both agent and surplus lines broker.

Pechan has been a long-standing member of the Pinnacol Foundation Board of Directors, a scholarship program that ensures the children of people seriously injured or killed in a workplace injury have the opportunity to pursue their education dreams. He has also been recognized in the Denver Business Journal and ColoradoBiz magazine for his outstanding work as a "Top Business Insurance Professional."

With his roots in Chicago, IL, Pechan moved to Colorado in 2001. He is a proud father to two boys whose hockey teams he coaches. He is also an avid hockey player himself, as well as a snowboarder, hiker and guitar player. He believes in the power of always giving back and lifting up the communities he engages.
